Butterfly Kriya: Full Moon Meditation for Prosperity

It's another full moon and another opportunity for us to harness the energy of abundance in all its manifestations. When our channels are open, our electromagnetic field fortified, and our spirit is connected to The One: energy, creativity and love flow easily. At times our mind obstructs our flow with questioning, fear and doubt. Meditation gives us an opportunity to clear out our mind of negativity and connect to our Highest Self, the God within, so that we can radiate all that we are and receive what we deem valuable and know on a deep subconscious level that we are worthy of our gift. Are we ready to transform our selves into the radiant abundant and beauty-filled butterflies that we are?! Lets fly!!!

TO BEGIN:
Sit in Easy Pose with the spine straight with chin in and chest out (Jalandhar Bandh). Rub your hands together and bring them to Prayer Pose with your thumbs against your sternum and your shoulders rolled back and down. Your eyes rolled in and up towards your third-eye brow point. Inhale through the nose and chant ONG NA MO GURU DEV NAMO (I bow to the Divine Teacher within) on two breaths. Listen here for the ADI MANTRA
MUDRA: Bring the base of your palms and thumbs together, throat level, making a "V" with your hands. Open and close your palms without losing the connection of the base (like a butterfly) and your fingers touching when they close. Create a rhythm. Continue for 11 minutes. Naturally you will create the sound HAR. (Har means God.) If you like you can listen to a recording of the mantra here: HAR. And you haven't already, buy my CD URBAN MANTRA: VOL I while you are at it! You will find these mantras and more. All proceeds go to Rhythm & Breath's continued efforts to bring accessible mystical tools to urban folk.
FOCUS: The focus is on the tip of the nose with the eyes closed.

TO FINISH: Recite the Warrior Healers Affirmations in Gyan Mudra, your index finger pressed against your thumb.

TO CLOSE: Rub your hands together, bring them to prayer pose and chant SAT NAM (Truth is my Identity) on one breath 3 times. Bring your hands up to your forehead and bow bringing your hands and head to the floor. This seals the work in your frontal lobe.
SO there it is R & B Yogis! You can find me floating in the ethers!

Salaam! Shalom! Sat Nam!

Renew Your Rhythms and Invite Prosperity

"Prosperity is determined by ones' creativity and ability to open the heart to Divine inspiration." - Luz

Greetings New, Returning, and Crash n Burning R & B Yogis!

It's that time again to explore our heart center to see what we are inviting into our hearts and lives and release what is blocking us from receiving an abundance of gifts, spiritual and material, that is our birth right. Our ability to give and receive boils down to our feelings of self-worth molded by our primary caretakers in early childhood. These ideas are reinforced by our communities, society and in our significant relationships giving us opportunities to explore gliches and heal wounds. Meditation is the most comprehensive and effective way to deal with subconscious issues, gently guiding our own process proactively rather than allowing destiny to reveal issues as they come up in life. Either way your karma, will get delt with. I believe, it is always best to place your Self into the fire rather than let destiny push you in. The process is less traumatic and shocking.

So are you ready to burn karma, heal old wounds and let creativity and prosperity flow? I am...lets go! This meditation is combines kriya (body posture that applies pressure to certain points and/or organs), mudra (hand positions), pranayam (breath work) and a mentally projected mantra (incantation.)

Listen here for the correct pronunciation and cadence of the ADI MANTRA.

MUDRA: Press your thumbs against the mercury mounds (pads of your pinkie fingers) and wrap the other 4 fingers around your thumb making a fist. Stretch your arms to the sides with palms down and revolve your arms in 18 inch circles to the back. Continue for 3-11minutes.

PRANAYAM: Inhale through your nose, and exhale with a hissing breath through the nose. It is like blowing your nose (or snoring) slowly seeping the air out on the exhale. It is not hissing with the tongue.

MANTRA: You can mentally project or listen to my recording of the mantra here: HAR And you haven't already, buy my CD URBAN MANTRA: VOL I while you are at it! You will find these mantras and more. All proceeds go to Rhythm & Breath's continued efforts to bring accessible mystical tools to urban folk.
NOTES: This meditation will communicate to every organ of the body to re-organize and regulate itself. It is calming and, if practiced for 120 days, will put everything in the body in rhythm. It can help menopausal problems, glandular problems and any part of the body that needs regulation.

SO, there it is R & B Yogis! You know where to find me for the group discussion and questions, there you will also find the instructional video.

Until then my loves,
Salaam, Shalom, Sat Nam!
